Blue Defense: Second Wave has been released for iPad/iPhone and Palm WebOS!
Initial reviews are all 5/5 on the app store, and the reviewers seem to be in love with it.

Blue Defense: Second Wave is my baby, a vastly improved iteration on the very first game I ever sold on the iTunes App Store. It's an addictive, arcade-style shooter, where games can last between just seconds and hours on end.
The new Gauntlet game mode even introduces something never before seen in Blue Defense: a win condition! In Gauntlet, you play through a set number of waves in a given order, and if you beat them all, you get some fancy fireworks and victory music!
There are over 70 different leaderboards to compete on, and 200 achievements that we've crammed into this title... we haven't decided on an after-sale price yet, but some people have been tossing around $3.99 in the Touch Arcade forums...

Well... you've done it. You've ruined my free time forever. Never more shall I be any sort of productive as long as my iphone has a smidgen of battery life left. I will forever be scheming for extra points, new methods to get higher scores, and always plotting how to remove the *ahem* competition from the leaderboards.
You've outdone yourselves... this game is an improvement on the old by several orders of magnitude, and is a MUST BUY in my book. The extra modes, nearly un-ending variety of enemies, and the replay value makes this game just perfect.
